RESULTS: Monday Night Raw May 5, 1997

PERFECT PLEX MATCH:

Terry Taylor
vs.
Mr. Perfect
w/Madusa Miceli

The Match:
Terry Taylor comes out in his business suit, carrying the T.V. title and smiling. He has two gorgeous women on each arm. When he gets into the ring, the two women yank the pull away suit off, and he is in a green and yellow wrestling singlet with two leather wristbands.

Mr. Perfect's music begins to play. Some WCW fans rise up with some Mr.Perfect merchandise, and he gets a nice ovation. Madusa comes through the curtains first... then steps aside and holds her arms out....

And Mr.Perfect comes through! He holds his arms over his head... then walks ahead of Madusa, throwing his towel behind him and landing it on her shoulder. He spits out his gum, and backhands it up into the ring at Terry Taylor, then cockily smiles.

He stops at the end of the runway, looking around at the fans.... then he climbs into the ring as Madusa gets into her corner.

The bell sounds. The two move around each other.

Tony: This should be a spectacular scientific affair!

Larry: Absolutely!

Perfect starts off with an armwringer. He brings his own leg over the arm... and LEGDROPS DOWN, dropping Taylor to the mat, while holding the arm!!! Perfect spins up to his knees, holding the arm still. Taylor.... LOOKS HURT BAD!!!

Tony: Did Perfect knock him silly?

Larry: He looks HURT!!!

Perfect looks confused at Taylor and starts to get up. Quickly... Taylor KICKS HIM BELOW THE BELT!!! Perfect doubles over!!!

Larry: HE WAS GOLD-BRICKING!!!

Tony: We've seen Taylor do that before in his title defenses!

Taylor gets up and puts the chicken wing on Mr. Perfect, pushing him toward the ropes. He lets go as the referee Nick Patrick gets in there to make him break. Taylor backs up... then runs in at Perfect... and KNEELIFTS HIM THROUGH THE ROPES TO THE OUTSIDE!!! All the fans stand up to see...

Taylor climbs out onto the apron... and leaps... FLYING BULLDOG ON PERFECT!!!! A contingent of Taylor fans POP!

Tony: That'll take the wind out of your sails! Taylor looks on his game tonight!

Larry: He'd BETTER be! This is MR.PERFECT we're talkin' about!

Taylor rolls back in and stands. Mr. Perfect slowly rises up and slides in under the ropes. Taylor ELBOWDROPS him on the way in.

Madusa tries to get the fans going for Perfect... but there is little reaction. She continues trying.

Taylor grabs both of Perfect's legs... and slingshots him up.... DROPPING HIS THROAT ACROSS THE TOP ROPE!! Taylor then grabs Perfect... drags him to the center of the ring.... and PUTS ON THE FIGURE FOUR!!!

Larry : I can't BELIEVE this! Taylor is AWESOME! If he'd wrestle like this every day... he'd be the World Champ!

Tony: Perfect's hardly wrestled in recent months from injuries! He may have re-entered too soon!

Mr. Perfect fights the hold... and begins to roll over! Madusa gets the fans started... SLIGHTLY!!! Perfect feeds off of them... and starts flipping him over!!! Taylor releases! He comes up behind Perfect and puts on a half-nelson...

Perfect sits out and does a go-behind into an armwringer! Taylor spins his arm and tucks and rolls to escape...

Perfect let's the hold go and pulls up Taylor in a standing side headlock...Taylor pushes him off to the ropes... but doesn't rise up in time... Perfect hooks him...

DROP DDT!!! More fans CHEER!!! Madusa urges them on!

Tony: We'll be back after these words! We have to take a commercial break!

Larry: Well, NOT NOW!!!!!!
