RESULTS: Monday Night Raw June 23, 1997

STEEL CAGE MATCH
the Blizzard, Adrien Blades
vs.
the Techno Kid
w/Terry Taylor, Susannah Helmsley

The Match:
When The Blizzard is announced he comes out with a mixed ovation. More cheers are mixed in from last time, but there are still boos. A big flash of bright white light suddenly flashes from the entrance. Then a large,black figure steps from the entrance...and after the light is down we see The Blizzard. He walks to the ring wearing his white coat that reaches the ground. The coat seems to be made of leather and seems very heavy. He is holding a big bag filled with his little cups with ice-cream. He has his long hair in a ponytail.

The Blizzard walks to the ring and stops a couple of times to sign autograhs and give a few handshakes. He walks to the fans and gives them a couple of cups of chocolate ice-cream. He then slowly walks up the chairs and into the cage.

Just then, fog starts to seep out of the entrance, and right behind the fog marches Demolition. They are dressed in their full leather outfits and stalk right to the Blizzard's corner and stand there. They fold their arms and keep their eyes focused into the ring.

JR: What's THIS? Demolition... with the Blizzard?

Heart Attack: That's not all....

Then, Jim Cornette comes down the aisle with Vader. They stand with Demolition, all four in the Blizzard's corner.

The chant goes off... 1... 2... 3.... and the Kid's music begins to play! He comes out with Terry Taylor and Susannah Cecily Helmsley, who has her computer. They get halfway down the aisle... when Taylor... KICKS THE KID IN THE STOMACH!!! He doubles over!!!

JR: WHAT IN THE....

Taylor hooks his arms up into the DOUBLE UNDERHOOK POWERBOMB.... THE STOCK MARKET CRASH!!!

JR: Right on the protective mats!!! Folks... that's CONCRETE under there!!

Taylor stands up over the injured Kid... and throws down a pink slip on him.

Taylor: He was dead weight.

Taylor and Suannah turn and leave, disappearing behind the curtains.

Heart Attack: I had HEARD that might happen!

JR: It DID! The Kid has been assaulted by his own ALLY! And now he has to wrestle IN THE CAGE!!!

The Kid stumbles up to his feet, shaking off the effects. He then staggers to the ring and climbs in. The door is closed behind him. The Kid seems hurt.

The Blizzard slowly removes his coat and he throws it at The Kid with a rather fast speed. He then laughs at The Kid and pops his fingers...looking ready to wrestle. The bell sounds...

The Blizzard rushes at the Kid... and is met with a KARATE CHOP!!! The Blizzard is staggered.. but keeps surging forward... and CLOTHESLINES the Kid!!! The Kid is driven back up and OVER the ropes into the CAGE!!!

The Kid bounces back off the steel into the Blizzard's arms... AND A BODYSLAM!!! The light Kid kips up to his feet and lights up the Blizzard with a series of kicks!

The Kid runs past the Blizzard and jumps up on the top rope... climbs the cage a bit... then leaps back... FLYING AXEHANDLE ON THE BLIZZARD!!! The Blizzard is knocked down to his knees... but starts coming back up.

The Kid stands over him and throws a kick to the mid-section... then a karate punch to the back of his head. The Blizzard is dropped to the mat. The Kid goes to the corner again... and starts climbing..... HE GOES ALL THE WAY UP!!

JR: This is a LONG drop! But the Kid is known for his aerial!

The Kid almost loses his balance... but he gets it back... and dives... FLYING KARATE PUNCH!!! The Kid pops right back up to his feet... and stomps on the Blizzard's chest. The Kid goes BACK to the corner... and begins to mount the cage again.... slower this time.

JR: Heart Attack, the Kid is still hurt from Terry Taylor's move earlier on!

Heart Attack: Well... it did take us ALL by suprise! But I had heard the rumors.

The Kid is back on top again. He stands, facing away from the ring. He glances back to check on the Blizzard, some 15 feet down below. Blades seems to be lying still.

Heart Attack: If he hits this... the losing streak continues.

The Kid MOONSAULTS INTO THE RING.....
