FLASH FUNK REPORT....

The camera opens up on Sarah walking down a hall way in the hospital She does not seem to know the camera is there. She comes up to a door and goes to open it but is stopped by a doctor.

Doctor: Sorry miss but I can not let you in to see the man in this room he is in no condition to have visitors.

Sarah turns to the Doctor.

Sarah: ok then can you at least let me know how he is doing?

Doctor: Well ...

The doctor pulls out his chart and looks at it.

Doctor: It appears that he has severe injuries to the back and neck. His 4th, 5th, and 6th vertebre have been severly damaged as a result of recent trauma to those areas.

Sarah: Do you know what caused it?

Doctor: From what I understand, the first bit of injury came about a month back, but did not occur in the ring. During a match shortly there after, he was dropped full force right on this area, worsening the injury to a slight degree. Rather than risk injury, he was advised to rest for a period.

Doctor: Then, after his rest period was up, he stepped into the ring again at the event last Sunday, and suffered much more damage to this area of the neck. He was in severe pain afterwards, and was advised to not wrestle for 3-4 weeks to let his neck fully heal. Unfortunately, he was allowed to remain at the arenas during other cards.

Sarah: Then I guess it was the ...

Doctor: The Power Bomb? From my review of the tape, Mr. Funk was dropped full force once again right onto the affected area. Not to mention the fact that the man who dropped him is quite tall, building up the momentum. Indeed, it appears that this move was the icing on the cake to the injury.

Sarah: What is Flash's prognosis?

Doctor: Well, I hope that he can make a full recovery. Within a few weeks, Mr. Funk should be well enough to leave the hospital, but he must continue with his physical therapy. After that, hopefully we'll be on the road to helping him walk again. It seems that the -

Sarah: WHAT?! Did you say ... to help him walk again?!

Doctor: Miss, your friend has sustained severe damage to his spinal area. As of this moment ... from the waist down, Mr. Funk is paralyized.

Sarah's eyes go wide looking at the doctor.

Sarah: You've got to be kidding!

Doctor: It's no joke, Miss. Now if you'll excuse me, I have other patients I must attend to.

The doctor walks past Sarah, leaving her standing stunned by Flash's door. She tries the handle, but the door is locked. She leans back on to the door and puts her face in her hand as the camera fades.
