RESULTS: Monday Night Raw June 9, 1997

Back to action! Gold-Dust is karate chopping Jade. She backs up a half-step... then hits a ROUNDHOUSE KICK!!! Jade spins a bit, dizzily, then she drops forward. Gold-Dust leaps up... and brings down a SCISSORS KICK!! Jade goes all the way down... but not for long.

Gold-Dust pulls her up viciously by the hair. Jade spins around... A ROUNDHOUSE KICK OF HER OWN!!! Gold-Dust is FLATTENED to the mat! Jade hits the ropes and runs in for a 360 degree LEG DROP...

NOBODY HOME!!! Gold-Dust gets to her feet confidently. She pulls up Jade into a SWINGING NECKBREAKER!! Jade is then sent for the ride to the near side... into a KARATE KICK!!

JR: Both of these young girls LOVE to use their kicks! I suppose the winner of this match will have BRAGGING RIGHTS!

Jade is sent for the ride again, this time to the far side. She comes barreling back at Gold-Dust... who ducks at the last second... THE OSCAR DROP!! Jade is elevated HIGH in the air! She crashes down on her back and Gold-Dust dives on top for the cover... 1... 2... kick-out.

Jade slips out from under Dust and kips up to her feet. Gold-Dust sweeps out and takes Jade back down. Then... both kip up at the same time!

JR: Move for move!

Gold-Dust fires a chop in... so does Jade! Dust's is BLOCKED! Jade's CONNECTS!! Jade throws up a karate kick, driving Dust down to the mat! Gold-Dust pops right back up, throwing a double chop at Jade....

Jade ducks under it and comes up behind Gold-Dust. Dust looks back.... and hits her with a back kick... THE HOLLYWOOD SIDEKICK!!! Jade stumbles backwards... but quickly regains her balance. She brings up a normal kick at Gold-Dust.. then a chop... then a KARATE KICK... then a ROUNDHOUSE KICK!!! The fans start to come alive as Jade does!!

Gold-Dust stops the momentum with ANOTHER SIDEKICK!!! Jade staggers again, off balance. Dust moves around behind her....and hits a FLYING BODY PRESS TO THE MAT!!!

JR: This is turning into a PHENOMENOL MATCH! I knew it would be good... but not THIS good!

Gold-Dust next hits a SIDE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Then she sets her up for a PILEDRIVER!

Sarah: If she hits this... it could be all over!

Jade is pulled up. She kicks her legs to stop it... but Gold-Dust inverts her... PILEDRIVER!!! TEXTBOOK! Gold-Dust steps away, going through her theatrics. The fans boo at her. Dust cocks a smile, then turns back to Jade, pulling her up by her hair.

Jade, not done yet, slams a karate punch into Gold-Dust's stomach. Dust let's out an OOOMPH. Dust angrily spins Jade around to face away. She hooks on a belly to back suplex.... NO THE PREMIERE PLEX!!! SHE HITS! SHE BRIDGES!!

JR: This could be it.....

The ref gets into position... 1... 2... Jade breaks FREE!!! The fans CHEER!!! Gold-Dust rises up, sneering. She extends a leg... and DROPS it across Jade's face, taking the fight out of her for the moment.

Gold-Dust throws Jade to the ropes... and runs at her as she bounces off....THE 24 KARAT KICK!!!! Jade hits the ropes again and crumbles down to the mat! Gold-Dust hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3...!!!!

Gold-Dust's music begins to play! The fans boo!

JR: THE 24 KARAT! We've not seen that in a LONG time! She has so many ways to beat you... the Premiere Plex... the Oscar Drop... Hollywood Sidekick.... and of course, the Curtain Call!

Sarah: Roxanne had better be ready for ALL of them!

Jade rolls out of the ring towards Sensei, and slams her hands on the apron, visibly upset at losing. Sensei comes up beside her and speaks to her quietly, and she looks up at him, with a slightly shocked appearance. A moment later she looks up into the ring, then down at the announcers table, and then out at the fans. A grin begins to form on her face, and she nods to Sensei, and they walk out, slapping a few hands as they go, Jade blowing a kiss to a camera as they pass.

JR: Well... I wonder what he SAID! Let's go to commercial, and when we come back... IT'S THE BARBER SHOP!
