RESULTS: Monday Night Raw July 21, 1997

JR: Fans, the next big supercard in the WWF will be the Queen of the Ring. It will be LIVE on the FOX network... emanating from the Mecca in Milwaukee, Wisconssin on August 3, 1997.

Pillman: C'mon! Enough with all that crap! Who's fightin' who!

JR: The official bracketing is in... and here it is! In the opening round, the current Queen, Wild Chylde DiBiase will face the captain of the Femme Fatales... Gold-Dust!

Pillman: That shouldn't be too hard.

JR: There's MORE excitement for the opening round. Starr Blaze will face her arch-enemy in singles action... Susannah Cecily Helmsley!

Pillman: Why does Helmsley have to prove herself again? She hit the pedigree at In Your House. I say, let her move on to the second round.

JR: I say, we're never voting for YOU to be WWF President! Also in the opening round... Valetia Von Strahden will meet Heart Attack!

Pillman: Heart Attack!? HA! (thinks) I mean... that should... uh... that'll be a good match.

JR: You almost slipped up, didn't you?

Pillman: (clears his throat loudly) No... my throats dry and I was clearing it... and I need a drink of water.. and...

JR: And how about THIS! The two goddess will meet in a re-match from some time ago. The Mortal Goddess, Lady Tyr against the Goddess of Suplexes, Venus Victrix! Tyr won their first encounter, but Venus has learned so much since then!

Pillman: Ross, don't forget to announce the two stand-by's in case some of the ladies can't make it!

JR: Standby's? I didn't...

Pillman: King Mabel and Adrien Blades! I mean... not only do they both have girls names... but they WRESTLE like girls too! Actually, not even as good! I heard the Blizzard challenging some of the female wrestlers in the back recently, and we KNOW Mabel can't defeat a woman! Ross, if Mabel WAS let into the tournament, I think I'd help him win, just so we can call him QUEEN Mabel! But on the other hand... QUEEN ADRIEN! I'd laugh all day if THAT happened!

JR: Well, that's not going to happen...

Pillman: You're RIGHT! He's had assistance before and STILL can't win. The women would mop the floor up with him. And Mabel's already tucked tail and run out of the fed. How's HE going to bodyguard Ted DiBiase's lame-o team at Summerslam? If somebody comes down to attack... what's he gonna do? Cry like a girl and get them to take pity and not attack?

JR: Alright, that's enough! Folks, it's the Queen of the Ring on August 3rd, just three weeks before Summerslam! It's one of the many BIG CARDS that's on the way... and it all leads to SUMMERSLAM 97 in East Rutherford, New Jersey! Folks... it's on LIVE... it's on TV... the FOX network! It's the Queen of the Ring! Let's get back to Raw!

Pillman: Do you think the Blizzard will whine about being looked over for THIS supercard, too?

WILD CHYLDE DIBIASE

Wild Chylde comes through the curtains to a huge applause from the fans. She slaps hands rapidly on both sides and then climbs the steps, entering the ring. She motions for a mic.

W.C. Well... here I am again! Adding to the list of friends and eammates who'll be in my wedding party. I'd like everyone to give a big hand to... if she's here...Venus Victrix!

"Goddess of Suplexes" fills the arena as the fans whip around towards the entrance where Venus blasts through to a HUGE reception from the crowd! She slap hands with the crowd and signs autographs with a big smile on her face. She steps over the top rope and walks towards Chylde. Wild Chylde shakes her hand as she comes in.

W.C. Venus, this wedding is very important to me, and it's all I really want. But once again, Ted DiBiase has managed to determine my course. Venus, when the Femmes take this offer... we're going to have to be more careful then ever. What do you say, will you stand with me?

Victrix: I'll tell you what Chylde. The Femme-Fetales have left a bitter taste in my mouth here lately and there's NOTHING I'd rather do more than to whipe the mats with them at SUMMERSLAM! YOU KNOW I'M IN!! I just got ONE question.

W.C. What's that?!

Victrix: Can I bring a date?!

The crowd explodes with laughter as does Venus and Wild Chylde.

W.C. Terrific! I'd love to meet him! Glad you're with us! We'd better start planning!

Wild Chylde shakes Venus' hand again. "Wild Side" by Motley Crüe plays throughout the arena as both women leap over the top rope and slap hands with the fans.

JR: Well.. that's Wild Chylde, Roxanne, Heart Attack and Venus Victrix. Only ONE MORE TO GO!

Pillman: And they're taking on the Femme Fatales? Is that how this is working?

JR: Well, it looks like it!

Pillman: So the fifth choice is OBVIOUS! Call the Hotline and I'll let you ALL in on the SCOOP!
