RESULTS: Monday Night Raw July 21, 1997

After the break, the camera comes back on. The Machine backs up to Perfect and SNAP MARES him over, then karate kicks him in the back of his head. The ref inspects to see that the protective foot pad is indeed in place.

The Machine uses closed fists to full effect... a double thrust to the lower back... then a swift punch to the upper neck. Perfect rolls with the last shot and manages to come to his feet...

The Machine charges in... and Perfect hiplocks him... and takes him over... the Machine LANDS ON HIS FEET! Perfect digs deep... and ARMDRAGS HIM DOWN! Again, Sting and Rude whisper to each other... then Rude looks over to Madusa.

Pillman: Something is amiss!

JR: 'Amiss'? Somebody give you a thesaurus or something over the weekend?

Perfect pulls up the Machine... and hits a SIDE RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP! He pulls back and waits on the Machine... then SUNSET FLIPS HIM! He rolls him down and the ref hits... one... two.... KICKOUT!

Perfect rolls back and comes up with an armwringer on the Machine that he yanks toward him... and hits a CLOTHESLINE! Holding the arm, he hooks the head... and hits a SPINNING NECKBREAKER!! Perfect stands up...

Perfect: Now THAT'S Perfect!!!

The fans cheer as Rude and Sting compare notes again. Perfect pulls up one of the Machine's legs and forces him to stand up on the other.. hopping on the loaded foot. The Machine leaps up... INSUGORI KICK!! Perfect goes down and the Machine quickly covers... one....

He only gets one. The two wrestlers get back up to their feet and lock up! Perfect spins the Machine around into an ABDOMINAL STRETCH... but before he can hook it, the Machine throws back an elbow to the ribs that backs Perfect off.

JR: He's got a permanent rap sheet for being a woman-beater, but make no bones about it, this guy can WRESTLE! He's come into his own in these past few matches.

Pillman: Tainted victories at best are the ones HE'S earned as of late. But fighting fire with fire is sometimes the only alternative.

Perfect absorbs another shot to the ribs. The Machine moves around for his OWN abdominal stretch... but Mr.Perfect easily reverses it, and bends the Machine awkwardly down and to his side. Perfect quickly releases the stretch... and BULLDOGS the Machine down!

Perfect lifts him up, doubled forward... hooks a leg.. an arm and the head... SMALL PACKAGE!!! The ref is in position... one... two... THREE!!! Perfect rolls the Machine off and stands up.

Sting rolls into the ring and keeps his eyes on Perfect. Mr.Perfect smugly looks at him, holding his arms up in victory. Then, Sting... turns and GRABS THE MACHINE!! He pulls him up... and DEATH DROPS HIM!!! THE FANS CHEER!!!

Perfect nods his head and smiles, then rolls from the ring and he and Madusa leave. Sting turns the Machine over into the SCORPION DEATH LOCK!! Todd is frantic at ringside!! The Anvil stands up and laughs at Todd and the Machine. The referee convinces Sting to let the move go... but the damage is done!

Sting let's out a HOWL to the fans, then he and Rude leave. Todd rushes in to help the Machine, who's out, face first.

JR: Sting just got a little payback! Finally!

Pillman: Ah, we softened him up the other night. Actually, SABRINA did! Yet another FEMALE victory on Superstars!

JR: And the OTHER female victory belonged to Lady Tyr. But she's not out celebrating or bragging about her deeds. No, her loved one lies in pain and is suffering, and she's there to comfort him. Let's take a look at this...

LADY TYR AND THE UNDERTAKER

Mene Gene is at the hospital with Tyr and Paul Bearer Tyr looks worried as she glances back and forth at the room behind her, which is guarded, and the camera.

Gene: Hello folks, Mene Gene Okerland here with an update on The Undertaker's condition. Paul, we know that the last few weeks have been very rough for you and Tyr...but how is The Undertaker fairing?

Paul: Ohhhh no! Not good at all...according to the doctors if we would have brought him a day or two later, they could have done nothing about his condition! They have done some research on the doctor we talked to in the first place and you know what? He's not a real doctor!!! Ohhhh no! The police are looking for the man as we speak! As they analized the medication, they found small quantities of nightshade in them!

Tyr: They took him here, to the critical ward...they have an antidote for the poison, but they say it will take some time...they still don't know if there is brain damage or not. And just to make sure that Mephisto can't reach him here, we got security to help out.

Gene: Will he ever wrestle again?

Tyr: The doctors don't know...but I'm sure he'll pull through.... because if he dies...I'm taking a shotgun to my head and going after him to make his afterlife miserable!!!!
