The Hitman takes Ax's leg... and wraps it around the ringpost... and does the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK!!
The camera picks up Faarooq and Malenko, still watching. Faarooq seems unimpressed. Malenko is a study in non-emotional faces.
The referee begins a count on the Hitman to break it... and at the count of three... he does. Bret drops down to the outside... takes on of Ax's legs... and 'THROWS' it into the steel ringpost!! Ax sits up in pain, howling!
Bret slides back in Ax gets to his feet, hopping on his good leg. Ax regainst his balance, then complains about Neidhart. The ref turns to see... and Ax... HITS A LOW BLOW ON BRET!! The Hitman doubles over, obviously hurt. He rolls out of the ring near Brutus and the Warrior.
JR: Just a moment of distraction, and Ax and Smash regain the control! They are the MASTERS of the rules and breaking them!
Ax makes the tag to Smash as Bret rolls back in. Smash leans over to pull Bret up... but the Hitman grabs the head... NECKBREAKER!!! The Hitman quickly grabs the legs.... and goes for a TEXAS CLOVERLEAF!!!
Smash fights it... and kicks Bret off. On the video wall... Malenko snickers. Smash regains control, due to Bret's critical error. He thorws Bret to the ropes... POWERSLAM!!! He tags Ax... then goes to the top rope....
Pillman: How embarassing! Bret couldn't apply the Texas Cloverleaf!
JR: Folks.. that's Dean Malenko's move! Some psychology being tried here by the Hitman!
Bobby: They're going for the WRECKER!!!
Ax pulls up the Hitman...GORILLA PRESS SLAM!!! Smash leaps off.... BIG SPLASH!!! He rolls aside as Ax covers! The Anvil comes charging in....the ref counts.... one... kickout!!
JR: HE'S OUT ON ONE!! HE'S OUT ON ONE!!!
The Anvil turns and leaves... as Bret turns on the mat... hooks the legs... and starts to stand up with the TEXAS CLOVERLEAF!! But Ax shifts his weight and again, he cannot apply it.
Dean Malenko nods to himself, making mental notes. Faarooq shakes his head.
Bret gets ANGRY! He throws Ax to the corner... and CLOTHESLINES HIM THERE! Bret then RAKES his opponent in the face.... then CLOTHESLINES HIM AGAIN!!! Ax goes down... and goes down HARD!!
Bret grabs the legs.... bends then and turns... TEXAS CLOVERLEAF!!
JR: He's got it ON NOW!! IT COULD BE...YES!!!
IT'S OVER!!! AX SUBMITS!! Smash charges in the ring... and faces off with Anvil and Bret... but decides against it. He helps up Ax... and they roll from the ring, then depart with their manager and Vader.
Malenko and Faarooq step up...
Dean: Hitman... imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But with an application such as that, I'd hardly call it 'sincere'. It took you three attempts to get it almost right. At Summerslam, you'll only get ONE CHANCE with me.
Faarooq: And Anvil, you pizza-packin', beer-guzzling fool. You don't even get ONE CHANCE with Faarooq!
The video wall shuts off.
Atalntra waits outside the ring for the Anvil.She walks up to him smiling.
Atlantra: That was really great Jim.
She kisses him on the cheek.
The Hart Foundation music starts to play as fireworks go off above the ring, and the Anvil and the Hitman celebrate in the ring. The Warrior and Brutus congratulate them. S.B. and the Great Muta watch Cornette leave with his men.
JR: The Harts do it again! They keep their titles!
Pillman: Yeah. yeah.
JR: Folks... tomorrow night, we'll have more great tag team action, as well as more 'mis-adventures' from Leslie Nielson!
Heart Attack: Do you think he'll find Sarah D.
Pillman: Do you think he KNOWS he's searching for Sarah D.?
JR: Also tomorrow... Raven and Vader in the Stretcher match! Raven is known for some high-risk maneuvers!
Bobby: For the Blizzard, taking a shower is a high-risk maneuver!
Pillman: One that he is not FOND of trying!
