RESULTS: Monday Night Raw July 28, 1997

w/ZoBo
vs.
1-2-3 Kid

The Match:
The bell rings out of the commercial. JoBo and the 1-2-3 Kid circle each other in the ring. ZoBo watches from the outside.

Bobby: It's very easy to beat the 1-2-3 Kid. You put a glass of milk down and a couple of oreo cookies. When he goes for 'em, put the boots to him.

JoBo rushes at the Kid and AXEHANDLES HIM BACK TO THE ROPES!! JoBo then PUSHES him through and follows him out viciously! JoBo pulls back the protective mats... and SLAMS the Kid down onto the cold, hard concrete!

Bobby: This is a FIRST!

JR: For what?

Bobby: This is the FIRST time the Kid has been up past 8:00.

JoBo then clotheslines him back down after he struggles to his feet. JoBo slides into the ring and waits on the Kid. The referee's count reaches five.... six.... and the Kid slides in.

The camera then picks up S.B. Peterson and the robed figure of Monolith, standing at the top of the aisle, silently watching the action.

JoBo drops down and starts choking the life from the Kid. He stands, still holding the Kid by the throat... and he SLAMS him back to the mat. JoBo dives down on him and starts punching him in the face over and over! The referee warns JoBo of his actions.

JoBo throws the Kid to the ropes.... SHOULDERBLOCK!!! The Kid is knocked back into the corner! JoBo charges in... FRONT ELBOW BLOCK!! Then a PUNCH to the gut... and an UPPERCUT... that sends the Kid over the ropes to the outside!!!

JoBo again climbs to the outside and grabs the Kid, pulling him toward the exposed concrete. He SLAMS him down hard to the floor... then yanks him up... spins him around... and MIRNYY DRIVES him on the floor!!! THE FANS REACT!!!

JR: He may have KNOCKED HIM OUT!! CONCUSSION!

Pillman: Serve him right!

JoBo throws the Kid into the ring like a toy... rolls in himself and covers... one... TWO... THREE!!!!!!!

THE LIGHTS GO OUT!!! The lights finally come back on, and Monolith, wearing no robe, is right infront of Jobo.

Monolith then point to Jobo then to himself and then point down at the ring.

Pillman: I'm going to go out on a limb here... and say that Monolith was challenging JoBo.

JR: The mystique behind Monolith continues.... can he NOT speak? Does he CHOOSE not to speak? What a mysterious individual!

Pillman: I suppose JOBO is considered NORMAL!

JR: He's no less eccentric! I'd pay MONEY to see a JoBo/Monolith match-up!

Then the lights in the arena go out once again and when they come up, Monolith and S.B. Peterson have disappeared.

JR: Monolith and JoBo! That'd be an encounter to see! Let's get to more Monday Night Raw!
