The Match:
Van Halen's 'Crossing Over' begins to build up from the speakers and fill the arena. A nice ovation rises up from the fans as Hakushi leads the Kyoto Ninja to the ring in the darkened lights and gray smoke that winds it way up from the entrance.Hakushi gets inside the ring and stands in the center. The Kyoto Ninja stands before him and bows deeply in respect, keeping his eyes on his master's eyes. Hakushi nods back, and it is then that the Ninja rises up and removes his warm-up gear. He adjusts his mask and awaits the match.
Hakushi walks down the steps, bracing himself on his staff, to the outside.
'Turn This Mutha Out' begins jamming from the speakers. Red fireworks begin bursting overhead.... slowly turning into orange explosions... then yellow... and WHITE until the entire arena seems erupting with white hot flames!
Booker T. and Slick step out of the entryway, both dressed in a bright red attire. Slick has a matching hat for his suit. Booker's tights have yellow flames going up the legs and on the armbands. He takes off his shades and chucks them to the fans. The Slickster spins on his heels until he faces the ring... then he struts on down, leading Booker.
Booker gets up into the ring and white flames shoot out from the ringposts and the fans cheer. Slick smiles as he watches Booker play up to the fans... but then BOOS come down from the rafters and fill the entire arena...
IT'S STEVIE RAY!!! Stevie appears at the top of the entryway with his arms folded, watching. Slick complains up to the referee, who can only shrug, unable to rectify the situation.
A camera moves up to Stevie for a close-up, and he shoves it aside by the lens, tilting the video screen off balance until another camera picks up the shot from a distance.
Slick tries to get Booker to forget Stevie, then he positions himself so he can see Stevie. The ref calls for the bell, and the Ninja and Booker circle around....
Booker starts with a leg sweep... taking the Ninja down to the mat. He bounces to the ropes and as Kyoto gets up...he hits a SCISSORS KICK!!! He gets up and looks up at Stevie Ray, obviously trying to show him up. Stevie just shakes his head at him.
Pillman: That's it Booker... 'feed the bears', you moron. Don't taunt Stevie Ray!
JR: Ray has no business being out there!
Pillman: He HAS business... it's FAMILY business!
Booker pulls Kyoto up... and hits a SPIN WHEEL KICK! The Ninja rolls with it... back away and to his feet. He hits the ropes and rushes in... KARATE KICK on Booker... then his OWN scissors kick!!! Stevie is shown, nodding his head, chuckling. Slick's mouth contorts into one of anger.
Both Booker and Kyoto get to their feet. The Ninja throws up a kick that Booker ducks under... and he hits a two fisted punch, springing forward with the double shot to the ribs. As the Ninja staggers... Booker goes to the top rope... MISSILE DROPKICK...
JR: THE HEATSEEKER! Or at least HIS half of it!
The Ninja is thrown for the ride... HARLEM SIDEKICK!!! The Ninja goes down! Booker... goes UP! TO THE TOP AGAIN!!! He leaps... HARLEM HANGOVER LEGDROP!!!
JR: HE'S PULLING THEM ALL OUT TONIGHT!!!
Stevie suddenly starts RUNNING down the entryway towards the ring. The Slickster dashes around the ring toward him with his cane held up.
Slick: No you DON'T, Brutha Stevie! You will cease... and DESIST!
Slick holds up his cane, in an attempt to keep Stevie at bay... but Ray just SWATS him down with a backhand! Slick flips over to the floor. Hakushi moves around to help Slick... and Stevie threatens to knock him down, too...
Hakushi holds up his staff. The referee pokes her head outside through the ropes, yelling for everyone to back off....
Booker climbs out of the ring between Hakushi and Stevie... then leans over to help up Slick, keeping one eye on Stevie. The ref begins counting Booker out. The Kyoto Ninja rests back in the corner. Hakushi instructs him to stay back.
Booker: Slickster.. man you alright?
Slick: Just a little shaken daddy.
Booker helps Slick to his feet and backs him up and sets him in a chair at ringside. Stevie turns and walks away.... but doesn't leave! Only the fans see him dive under the ring and disappear...
JR: What's he doing?
Pillman: I think Stevie helped set up the ring tonight. He may have left his socket wrench under there...
Hakushi has gotten up on the apron on the other side of the ring, instructing the Kyoto Ninja... teaching him.
Booker turns, expecting to see Stevie... but doesn't. Booker goes to the ring and starts to slide in... just beating the count..... BUT WAIT!!
Booker doesn't slide in!!! A hand... from under the ring is holding his leg!!! Booker tries to pull himself up in... the ref's count hits... EIGHT.... Booker tries to shake it loose. Slick gets up and comes toward the ring... NINE.....
Booker is pulled down from the apron... TEN!!!! The hand lets go and Booker dives under the ring!!! A FIGHT IS HEARD!!!
JR: WE GOT A FIGHT!!! BOOKER... AND STEVIE!!!
But after a few moments, Stevie rolls from under the ring, and jogs up the entryway, his suit torn a bit... but laughing back at the ring as the referee holds up the Kyoto Ninja's hand in victory! Kyoto throws his arm down angrily.
Booker climbs out and starts to charge up the aisle... the Slick stands in his way...
Slick: Summerslam, Booker! SUMMERSLAM!!
Stevie disappears behind the curtains, laughing as the Kyoto Ninja's music plays. The Ninja and Hakushi do not look happy, knowing what happened. Hakushi and the Ninja bow toward Booker and Slick... then head up the aisle.
Booker: I aint' HAVIN' THIS NO MO'!!! I'm about TIRED of this!
Slick: Easy, Booker... EASY! Summerslam is coming....
