DUDES WITH ATTITUDES PRE-MATCH COMMENTS

Shawn: Well, let's see if we can put the brakes on this streak of bad luck we're having.. and if not, then oh well.. we're here to put on a show, and that's what we're gonna do, win, lose, or draw.

The Match:
Fatu and Savio are up in the ring, dancing to their music and getting the fans jumping. Savio tries to get the ring announcer to dance a little as Fatu stands up on the second rope and claps his hands in the air above his head for the fans.

Pillman: What is this? American Bandstand? Where's Dick Clark?

Shawn and Diesel come through the curtains to "Bad Company", fireworks going off above the entranceway. Shawn dances down the aisle as Diesel follows, slapping hands with all the fans. When they get to ringside, Sensei appears from the crowd to collect their black jackets with "Attitude" painted across the back, and he takes position next to the announcer's table. Shawn dances his way up the steps to the ring, and Diesel just climbs over the top rope, and they both turn to the crowd and fling their sunglasses out.

Shawn and Fatu start it off as the bell rings. Diesel and Savio get to the outside. Shawn locks up, collar and elbow, with Fatu and pushes him back, then twists on an armlock. Shawn elbows the exposed shoulder, then bends it into a chickenwing.

Fatu swings around in the ring, trying to shake HBK off, but cannot. Instead, he simply puts himself off balance, so Shawn drop toe holds him down and resumes with the armlock on the mat.

JR: Looks like it's back to the basics! And Michaels is right in the DWA corner!

Pillman: Luck!

Shawn reaches up and tags Diesel, then stands Fatu up as BDC steps into the ring. Shawn holds the arm out and Diesel AXEHANDLES it before they make the exchange. Diesel then pulls Fatu up... BODYSLAM!!

Diesel grabs Fatu by the sore arm... pulls him in... SHORT ARM CLOTHESLINE! Fatu is held up only by his arm, with which he is pulled in again for an ATOMIC DROP! Fatu's body spins around and Diesel grabs him and ATOMIC DROPS HIM again!!!

JR: Shawn and Diesel DESPERATELY need this win! This is an almost MUST WIN situation here tonight!

Diesel grabs Fatu and prepares to .... NO! HEADBUTT from FATU!! Diesel is taken by suprise! That's all Fatu needs to whip Diesel to Savio's corner... where Vega welcomes him with a KARATE CHOP!! Fatu runs in with a CLOTHESLINE!! Then he tags Savio.

Vega comes in fired up! He karate thrusts Diesel in the ribs... then back fist strikes him in the face! Diesel drops to his knees and Savio gets around behind him with a nerve hold on the shoulder region. Vega works the clawhold down to the bicep region on BDC.

JR: No doubt trying to neutralize the 'sting' of the Jack-knife. Brian, we just saw some good teamwork out of Fatu and Savio!

Pillman: In other words, there's hope for Michaels and Diesel?

Diesel starts to get to his feet and the leverage for Savio is no longer there, so he releases the hold. Diesel hits the ropes and SHOULDERBLOCKS through Savio, knocking him down. Diesel tags in Shawn who hurdles over the ropes and lands in the ring. Savio gets up, facing away from Shawn, still getting his bearings. Savio turns... INTO SWEET CHIN MUSIC!!

Shawn drops down onto Savio... ONE... TWO... THREE!!! Shawn pops up!! Diesel steps into the ring to congratulate Shawn and...

JUSTIN HAWK BRADSHAW!! JHB hits the ring with a CROWBAR!!! He swings it into the back of Diesel's leg and BDC falls into the corner, holding himself up. Bradshaw swings again... A HIT!! Michaels reacts instantly... SWEET CHIN MUSIC RIGHT OUT OF THE RING!!

JR: What was Bradshaw THINKING?

Pillman: He's NOT! That's Cornette calling the shots!

Mike Rotundo then comes running down the aisle toward the ring, but Bradshaw retreats. Shawn and the Sensei check on Diesel... and find that despite a little pain, he's alright.

Howard Finkel: Here is your winners... THE DUDES WITH ATTITUDE!!

Diesel and Shawn thank Fatu and Savio for a good match, and then leave the ring quickly, joining Sensei who is standing at the end of the runway. The four walk quickly up towards the entrance, Shawn and Diesel slapping a few hands, to where Jade is waiting for them, and all walk out together.

Pillman: Well.. they finally did it!

JR: Yes they did! And I noted a dramatic improvement in their teamwork and continuity! Tag teaming takes time, as Fatu and Savio will attest!

Pillman: Not everybody can be Austin and me, that's a fact.

JR: That's right. Everybody ELSE HAS a tag team win! Let's go back up to the ring.
