HEART ATTACK

Heart Attack: I'd like to have someone out here. I don't know if they're in the building. But if she IS. I'd like just a chance to talk to Madusa Miceli.

The curtains part! Madusa steps through. She's looking up at Heart Attack in confusion. She walks to the ring.

Madusa: Here I am. Talk!

Heart Attack: I never had anything against you. And I never had anything but respect for you.

Madusa: There's always a first!

Heart Attack: I never did. I never said anything bad about you.

Madusa: Not many people DO respect Madusa Miceli.

Heart Attack: And that's what I'm here to talk about. (she looks at Pillman) Do you think HE respects you?

Madusa: (pauses for a long time) Yes.

Heart Attack: Madusa, you were a great champion. And you were a great pinnacle for us to look up to. And if you stay with the Empire much longer...and I'm saying this for yourself... your going to lose ANY respect by the ton!

Madusa: WHO has respect? NO ONE! I've set out to TAKE out any who have no respect for me.

Heart Attack: What will that get you?

Madusa: (pauses for a long time... doesn't speak. She looks away.)

Heart Attack: Look, it's tough enough in this federation for women. And I don't think you should let anybody... especially the little GREMLIN out there (points to pillman) intimiadate you the way he does.

Madusa: The Empire respects me. Rick Rude was kicked out, because I wanted it to be that way. And to reward them for that, I will win back the World Title for them.... for an unprecedented THIRD time.

Heart Attack: Pillman has NO respect for you! You've heard him talk. You can't be THAT blind! It's in the tone of his voice... it's in the way he says it...YEAH I HATE THE EMPIRE, but... well... that's all I wanted to say.

Madusa: (pauses, looks around) You've said enough.
