THE COUNTDOWN TO WRESTLEMANIA IV


FROM THE TORONTO SKYDOME IN TORONTO, CANADA - MARCH 1ST 1997

KICKOUT! Sid kicks out again! Diesel gets up, looking a little frustrated. The Sensei yells in something and Diesel seems to calm down. Diesel pulls up Sid and knife-edges him...then runs at him... CLOTHESLINE!

Sid staggers a bit... Diesel hoists him up... BODY SLAM!!!! Sid goes down hard... but starts to recover. Diesel grabs him... FALLAWAY BODY SLAM!!!

Sid again starts to recover, but a little slower. Diesel stomps down on Sid's arm, holding him there... and drops an ELBOW THAT HITS IT'S MARK!

Diesel stands over Sid... and signals for a THIRD Jack-Knife!!! Sid reacts! He hits an atomic drop.... that causes Diesel to fall back... AND THROUGH THE ROPES TO THE OUTSIDE!

Sid follows him out! The referee begins a count! Sid grabs Diesel... AND WHIPS HIM INTO THE RINGPOST! Diesel's back is FURTHER aggitaged! Sid backs up Diesel even further... right in front of the announcers.... he whips Diesel again... INTO THE RINGPOST! Diesel drops down, holding his back in pain!

The referee's count reaches 4.... Sid rolls Diesel in the ring... 5.... Sid comes in and covers Diesel. The ref counts.. 1... kickout!

The two get to their feet. Sid with his second wind... and Diesel looking worn out. Sid throws a punch... Diesel blocks! Diesel chops Sid and WHACKS him across the chest! Diesel body hugs Sid... BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!!!!!! Diesel gets up... JACK-KNIFE....!!! A THIRD JACK-KNIFE!!!

Diesel covers... the ref counts... 1... 2... 3....!!!!!!

The Sensei grabs the velt and vaults into the ring to hand it to Diesel... who leans on the Sensei and holds the belt over his head! The crowd cheers! Red and Silver fireworks go off over head, and Diesel signals for the microphone as Sid begins to get up in the ring.

Diesel: I TOLD you I'd keep this belt!!!

Sid walks up behind Diesel... HE LOOKS ANGRY! He's ready to SNAP! Diesel turns around and sees Sid. Sid steps up to him, ready to tear Diesel's head off... NO! He gives Diesel a big embrace, then rolls out of the ring!

Diesel's music begins to play again as more fireworks go off everywhere! The SkyDome opens up it's roof and the fireworks explode up into the sky! Diesel's music echoes throughout Toronto as the camera pulls up and away with the WWF Airship.
