Jim Ross returns to the announcer's table with Bam Bam Bigelow.

JR: Bam Bam... what about THAT?!

Bam Bam: The Undertaker is right. He DID say he would return at the King of the Ring.

JR: This Mephisto character had us ALL fooled!

Bam Bam: But his game was seen through!

JR: Indeed! Let's get up to the ring for our FIRST semi-final bout... Stone Cold Steve Austin against JoBo!

KING OF THE RING: SEMI-FINAL MATCH

The Match:
Austin comes storming from the curtains to a resounding BOO from the crowd! He pays them no mind and just marches to the ring and rolls in. Sabrina and Graves confidently stand in his corner.

JoBo's flute music 'Bo Bo Boppidy' plays. He walks through the curtains, rather quickly, with no expression on his face. He climbs through the ropes...

AND AUSTIN IS ALL OVER HIM!! Stone Cold double axehandles JoBo, doubling him forward. Austin hooks him for the STUNNER.... but Austin can't take him down!!!

JR: JoBo is TOO BIG!!!

Bam Bam: I don't think he can STUN HIM!

Austin tries again.... NOTHING!! JoBo forearms smashes Austin away from him. Austin fires back a punch! JoBo lunges at Austin, who side-steps and comes up behind JoBo...THE MILLION DOLLAR DREAM!!!! JoBo swings his arms around... but can't escape.

He drops down to one knee. Austin releases... and hooks for the STONE COLD STUNNER...

NO!!! He STILL can't bring him down!!! JoBo reaches down to Austin's leg and flips him head over heels to the mat! JoBo stands over him.... LEG DROP.... Austin rolls aside!!

Bam Bam: The big guy just missed an important move. It may cost him!

JR: You can't afford mistakes against Stone Cold.

Austin pulls the leg up in a step-over toe hold!! He twists the knee against it's joint, wrenching it on.

JR: That's the leg JoBo FELL ON with that missed legdrop!

Bam Bam: I think he's going for the Sharpshooter...

JR: Can he get it on those thick legs?

Austin crosses JoBo's huge legs in front of him, steps through... and begins to turn JoBo over. JoBo presses down into the mat, fighting it. Austin strains, trying to turn the big rookie over. He's got him half-way....

JR: Look at the POWER of the youngster! He's holding on!

Bam Bam: But for how long!?

AUSTIN TURNS HIM OVER!!! The Sharpshooter is ON!!! Austin leans back, yelling for the ref to check on JoBo.....

JOBO SUBMITS!!! The bell rings!! Austin stands, throwing JoBo's legs down to the mat, raising his arms in the air.

Austin leaps from the ring and shows two fingers to the camera... then ONE. He, Sabrina and Lucifer head up the aisle, with Stone Cold's music playing.

JR: Steve Austin... IS IN THE FINALS!!

Bam Bam: He'll meet the winner of the Giant/Sting match!

JR: I'm still going with STING on this! He has the endurance to go ALL THE WAY!

Bam Bam: NO WAY! The Giant is too much for the Stinger, I hate to say. All of Sting's trademark moves will be ineffective on the Giant!
