MEDICAL UPDATE

The Medical facility is shown backstage. Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart are here, getting bandaged up by the physicians. The scene cuts to Jim Ross and Bam Bam.

JR: We just received word from the back about Bret and Anvil.

Bam Bam: What do you have for us?

JR: Mostly just laceractions and bruises. They'll be sore for a few days. Bret dislocated a.... well... all I know is... SOMETHING dislocated. He'll be alright.

Bam Bam: Nothin' serious?

JR: WWF doctors are ruling they take the next two days to rest before returning to the ring.

Bam Bam: Well... it's probably for the best. One of the first things you learn as an athlete is to take ANY injury seriously. JR... a scrape on the knee can become infected and hurt pretty bad if ya don't watch over it.

JR: That's very true. I also have word that Flash Funk's neck and back are very sore from his match with Austin. With some rest, he'll be alright. He has NOT been told to stay away from the arenas.

Bam Bam: And Sting took quite a drubbing, but he was walkin' under his own power. That's good news.

JR: Certainly is. Let's... HEY! Look at THIS! UP IN THE RING!

Bam Bam: You've got to be KIDDING me!

THE BLACKJACKS

The BlackJacks are standing in the ring with the four horsemen T-shirts. They have Shadow with them.

Windham: i know we have been gone for awhile but were back and in full force. but we said we have a suprise and we do, and in the week's to come a suprise will unravel.

Bradshaw:But first! where have the enforcers been? i havent seen them. But we're here thats what counts. And we have a lill challenge to Shawn And mStinger you boy's want the Cowboys well ya got'em but ya toooo scared. but if ya not how about next Monday on raw.

Windham: (Sit's down beside Shadow and she scream's as loud as she can) Animal, Hawk, You boy's have sufferd some hard times but if ya want shadow just walk right out here and get'er she's here right in front of da camera i dont care take if ya have gone and hurt your self.

Bradshaw: I think the lill baby's are scared YEEEEEEE HAW!

JR: This is TERRIBLE! They KNOW the Road Warriors are in the hospital! This is DIRTY! I can't wait for In Your House! If the LOD are ready... they'll come back... and they'll be FIRED UP! The Blackjacks are in TROUBLE!

Bam Bam: Well, we're hopin' the LOD is back to full health come In Your House. We got Jesse Ventura checking out this story like a HAWK! No pun intended, JR. Let's go to 'im now!

JESSE VENTURA REPORTING....

Jesse Ventura stands in front of the door to the Road Warriors' hospital room. While still dressed in usual flashy manner, his clothes look somewhat wrinkled and he looks as if he just got up.

Jesse: This is Jesse Ventura reporting. I got a call from Dr. Mesmer just ten minutes ago. He told there was an important development. He didn't say what it was about but...

The door to the Road Warriors' room bursts open and two men run through it, pushing Hawk on a bed. Hawk seems to be convulsing and shaking on the bed. There is a small trickle of blood coming from his nose. Dr.Mesmer follows the two men pushing Hawk.

Jesse: Oh my God, what's happening?

Dr.Mesmer: (Stops to face Jesse) Oh, Mr.Ventura. It is good you could make it. (He turns towards the men pushing Hawk) Take him to Operating Room Seven and prep him. I'll be there soon. (He turns back to Jesse) I was in the room checking in on Animal, who had just gained regained conciousness. When Hawk went into convulsions. That was when I had the nurse page you. From what I could tell it is a brain anurism.

Jesse: Is he going to be OK? Will he make it?

Dr.Mesmer: I can't say. Sometimes things leave no permanent effects, sometimes they can be very serious...

Jesse: How serious?

Dr.Mesmer: Anything from paralysis to death.

Jesse: You mean Hawk could die?

Dr.Mesmer: It is a possibility, but remember Hawk could come through this without ill effects.

Jesse: Thank-You doctor. Is there anything else?

Dr.Mesmer: Yes. As I said before Animal had regained conciousness. When I was checking in on him, he said something...

Jesse: What was it?

Dr.Mesmer: He seemed to be asking for forgiveness. He said The Road Warriors had made a mistake and wanted the fans' forgiveness.

Jesse: That is amazing... Can we go and talk to him?

Dr.Mesmer: You can go and look at him but I am afraid that it will do no good.

Jesse: What do you mean?

Dr.Mesmer: Come this way...
