Bradshaw and Windham pound Hawk and Animal down.... then look up to see Bret and the Anvil come charging up the aisle. Windham reaches out... AND GRABS SHADOW and tosses her flailing and kicking body over his shoulder! She reaches for her bag... but Bradshaw yanks it from her... AND THEY RETREAT!!!
JR: THEY TOOK SHADOW!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! The Road Warriors.... bashed down again by the Blackjacks... just like this past TNT!
Sarah: Well, this COMING TNT... the Road Warriors will MEET the Blackjacks IN THE RING!!!
JR: They took SHADOW!!! This is WILD!!!
Hawk and Animal look to pursue... but the officials try to get them to go to the ring and wrestle. Hawk and Animal slam down their belts and hit the ring. The Harts return to the ring also.
Neidhart and Animal start. Jim holds his hand out to Animal.... and the Road Warrior slaps it quickly. They lock up!!! They jockey for position... and the Anvil pushes him back with his strength, then BLOCKS into him, knocking him back!
Neidhart chargs in with a punch... and Animal blocks it, tossing a right hook himself! They start to get into a brawl... but then....
From under the ring fog starts to seep out! It slowly fills up the space between the ring and the audience, and settles at exactly the same level as the ring. Then it starts to slowly move up the entry aisle, and standing at the top of the aisle is Demolition. They are still wearing their full leather wardrobe, including face masks.
JR: I would LOVE to know... just HOW DO THEY DO THAT? The fog... appearing...then they come out! SPOOKY!
Demolition stand there and not move a muscle we will just watch the match. They seem to not move at all... perhaps not even BLINKING!
In the ring, Animal whips the Anvil to the corner... then charges in, smothering him with a clothesline! Animal steps back and the Anvil charges out... and CLOTHESLINE the champion down!
The Anvil picks him up and cranks on a headlock, torquing it hard! Animal tries to spin out... but cannot. He starts chopping at the Anvil's gut... and gets him to break. Animal tags Hawk in.
The Hawk goes to the top rope... and flies in at the Anvil.... WHO CATCHES HIM IN MID AIR!!! He sets him down... and LAUGHS at Hawk. Hawk BOOTS HIM IN THE GUT... then charges him with an out-stretched arm....
Neidhart ducks under him. Hawk turns... INTO A BODY SLAM!!! The Anvil walks over and tags the Hitman in. Bret runs in and DROP PUNCHES.... NOTHING! Hawk rolls aside!!!! Both Bret and Hawk start to get to their feet. Hawk forearm bashes Bret, and they melee to a vertical base!
Then, Sting comes down the aisle. He walks over to a neutral corner and stands.
JR: Sting is here! Tomorrow night, he'll face Bret Hart in another FINISHING MANEUVER MATCH! Last time they fought... In Your House, December 1995! Bret got him that time! But tomorrow's winner moves on to the KING OF THE RING TO FACE STEVIE RAY!
Amidst the brawl, Bret returns to wrestling, and takes Hawk down with a drop toe hold, into a STEP-OVER TOE HOLD!! He wrenches it on for a while.... then releases it, allowing Hawk to carefully get up to his feet, favoring the leg a bit. Bret leaps... and DROPKICKS Hawk back... and DOWN!
The Hitman face locks Hawk.... and SPINS HIM INTO A NECKBREAKER! He reaches up and tags in Neidhart.... who blasts through the ropes and jumps all over Hawk with fists and punches...chops and kicks!!! He's going NUTS!
The Anvil throws a punch... Hawk chops back! Neidhart chops... Hawk punches! Neidhart staggers a bit, cocking up an eyebrow.... like... 'that smarts!' Hawk tags in Animal... who dives OVER the ropes... SHOULDERBLOCKING Neidhart....
The Anvil brings up a big foot into Animal's face, knocking the tag champion to the mat at his feet! The Anvil strokes his goatee and laughs... looking around at Demolition! They stand like statues, looking at the ring, not moving at ALL!!! Neidhart cackles at them....
And Animal flips Neidhart over with a single-leg pick up! He COVERS HIM!!! The ref counts... 1... Neidhart powers free. Animal gets over Neidhart and starts chopping him in the face before pulling him to his feet and whipping him to the corner. The ring seems to MOVE! Animal charges in.... CLOTHESLINE!!! Neidhart doubles over and stumbles forward.... Animal... AXEHANDLES HIM IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD!
JR: Animal is ERUPTING HERE!!! Neidhart is getting KNOCKED AROUND!!!!
Animal STOMPS Neidhart down into the mat... then ANOTHER STOMP!!! Neidhart grabs the bottom strand... and pulls himself outside, to catch a breather....
